Best/most disturbing avatar I’ve seen in a while

I’m predicting the death of Twitter. I give it a year at most. David Pogue did a video. The NYTimes is writing about it as a business story, not a tech story, and everyone I know in business is talking about how to “leverage” it, I predict it will soon be suffocating under the weight of too many noobs, too many marketers, too much tweet-spam (is there a term for that?). It will lose its cool factor, and the opinion-leaders will move on to geekier pastures.
Remember, I called it first!
The Latest lineup for “Dancing with the Stars”:
Belinda Carlisle, singer with the Go-Go’s and a solo artist.
David Alan Grier, host of “Chocolate News.”
Jewel, singer, married to fellow competitor Ty Murray.
Shawn Johnson, Olympic medalist in gymnastics.
Lil Kim, hip-hop artist, fashion icon, and ex-con.
Gilles Marini, Samantha’s hot neighbor in the “Sex and the City” movie.
Ty Murray, rodeo champion, married to fellow competitor Jewel.
Nancy O’Dell, “Access Hollywood” host.
Denise Richards, actress, reality star, and Charlie Sheen ex.
Steve-O, “Jackass” alum.
Lawrence Taylor, former NFL star.
Chuck Wicks, country singer.
Steve Wozniak, Apple co-founder.
Actually the Real Housewives of the OC were all the proof I needed.
Funny how Europeans invented this sort of reality TV, but it took Americans to really debase the shows.
I always wondered about the origin of the “Obey” stencils around Boston. Now I know — the graffiti artist, who also did the Obama “hope” poster, has a show at the ICA now. He’s also being sued by the AP for basing his Obama poster on a photo they own the rights to, and the Boston police have arrested him for illegal street graffiti. Hmm, artist or criminal? Theft or fair use?
